You're At Home In The Gorge

Welcome to the Comfort Inn Columbia Gorge Gateway! Whether you are coming to visit the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood, attending a concert on the lawn at Edgefield, getting married next to the Sandy River, or just looking for a quiet place to retreat at the end of a day exploring Portland, we look forward to having you in the house.

In And About The House

From the warm welcome at the desk, to your cozy bed in a quiet and well-appointed room, you can look forward to a good night, and a great start to your day with a (yes, of course free) hot breakfast, and our generous 1:00 checkout time.

We are located in Troutdale on the quiet north side of I-84, just half a mile from the beginning of the lovely drive out to Multnomah Falls on the Historic Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway, and an easy 17 miles to the bridges over the Willamette into downtown Portland. Take an extra day on your time away or working trip, and get out and explore!  Look for the two and four day promotional rates for great discounts on our already good rates.

We look forward to having you here,

The Mirror Project was installed in the public spaces of the Comfort Inn Columbia Gorge Gateway hotel in Troutdale, Oregon, in 2012. The Installation is changed in October of each year, in conjunction with a Halloween Hanging celebration, including a Treasure Hunt for "the critters in the middles", where guests search the lobby, halls, and stairwells of the hotels to match up details from the centers of the Mirrors with the works on the walls.

See the Mirrors of the Installation here, and enjoy when you're in the house!
